What I have been repeating are relevant to manufacture furnitures.
When I started training, I made several rules.
One of them is drawing 10 idea sketches per day.
I just feel like to do it.
15 years since then, I have made at least about 10,000 chairs.
I have made around 500 kinds of chairs.
5 times of schematic plans are required, in other words, among 5 plans what I really made into productions would be one or less.
Then, schematic plans are 2,500 in total.
In order to make one schematic plan, I need to draw 20 to 25 idea sketches.
Then, idea sketches are roughly 55,000 in total,
55,000 / 15 years = 3,666 per annum
3,666 / 365 = 10 per day
It turned out to be 10 idea sketches per day.
I would be a bit surprised to realize I have not become tiered of repeating it.
Anyway, repeating has extremely strong power.
I have become able to make any chairs I would like to make.
KOMA is consist of great employees whom I would expect in their own area.
I am so excited.
